Charlotte, Fl. – Road trippers in Florida may soon be able to enjoy brisket sandwiches and beaver nuggets at another Buc-ee’s.

Documents show that almost 650 acres in Charlotte County, close to I-75, have been rezoned, raising rumors of plans to open another Buc-ee’s in the Sunshine State.

Additionally, according to Charlotte County public records, the region around the planned location requires modifications to the roadway intersections, including enlarging portions of Harborview Road and upgrading I-75 ramps.

In order to make room for another Buc-ee’s facility, a bid was made in June to enlarge the highways along I-75 in Ocala.

There will soon be a Buc-ee’s in the Treasure Coast as well.

In January, a final site plan proposal for the new store near the southeast corner of Indrio Road and I-95 was sent to St. Lucie County.

According to county documents, plans for the Buc-ee’s development on the Treasure Coast date back to February 2024.

The Florida Department of Transportation was given $4 million by Governor Ron DeSantis in April of last year to construct a new interchange on I-75 in Marion County. Another potential location is the Ocala interchange.

Other locations in Florida include Daytona Beach, St. Lucie County, St. Augustine, and Leon County.
