This week, crews on Florida’s Space Coast are getting ready to launch two rockets.
At approximately 7:30 a.m., SpaceX intends to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A.
NASA’s IMAP project is to be launched into orbit by SpaceX.
NASA intends to utilize IMAP to investigate the effects of the solar wind and other energetic particles on the Earth’s heliosphere.
Crews from the United Launch Alliance are also getting ready to launch an Atlas V rocket on Thursday at approximately 8:09 a.m.
Amazon’s Project Kuiper, which seeks to offer satellite internet service globally, is being supported by ULA’s launch.
